The Billie Jacket is named after musician Billie Holiday, an African American jazz singer. Holiday was raised by her half-sister in Baltimore, MD and started her career in nightclubs throughout Harlem, NY. Billie Holiday was a legendary woman and continues to inspire us every day.
Billie jackets are made in whole or in part from sustainably sourced second market materials such as wool, wool blends, corduroy, and other warm fabrics. Every piece is unique, made for you to experience maximum comfort. These jackets are reversible and have gender neutral sizing. The silhouette is inspired by Asian street style. This oversized kimono style jacket has large pockets (for all important things like snacks, lip balm, a phone, and even a wallet). Our Billie jackets are available in long-sleeved styles as well as short-sleeved.
Every Otto Finn jacket is named after one of our heroines. They are made from sustainably sourced materials and locally made in Pittsburgh, PA. Otto Finn is proud to be a women-led team dedicated to creating sustainable fashion.
Sizing: Please note that if you have previously purchased a jacket from us before, the pattern and sizing has been updated. Sizes are gender neutral. If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to email rona@ottofinn.com for assistance.
For example, if you normally wear a women’s S dress, you would wear the XS jacket for normal oversized fit. This is just a guide, there are lots of customers who are S and buy XL jackets! See size chart for measurements. It’s a matter of preference.
*Please note that this blanket is large enough for an up to XXL size medium length jacket with sleeves. If you are a smaller size and want us to check if the blanket is long enough for a longer length, please email rona@ottofinn.com and ask us to check.
Please write the following in the notes as you check out: length, size, ig handle if you'd like to be tagged.
If you’d like us to tag you in our Instagram page when your jacket is complete, please leave your handle after you make all your style choices.
Our Find Your Match program has a new sewing schedule and we’ll now be dropping off the blankets to be sewn twice a month. What does this mean for you? If you order a jacket between the 31st - 15th of the month, your jacket will be made within 4-6 weeks of the 15th. If you order between the 16th and the 30th, your jacket will be made within 4-6 weeks of the 30th. Please understand that if any unexpected issues arise it may take longer and we will be in touch.
