The Norah Jacket is named after musician Norah Jones, whose mix of jazz, country and pop melodies warms our spirits. Jones was born in NYC and started her jazz career shortly after graduating from the University of North Texas. Norah Jones is a determined spirit that brings light and soul to our everyday lives.
Kanthas are quilts traditionally from the Bengali region made from old saris or other discarded cloth with a running stitch. Every piece is unique, made for you to experience maximum comfort. These jackets are reversible and have gender neutral sizing. The silhouette is inspired by Asian street style. This oversized kimono style jacket has large pockets (for all important things like snacks, lip balm, a phone, and even a wallet).
Our Norah jackets are made from indigo dyed kanthas. Every Otto Finn jacket is named after one of our heroines. They are made from sustainably sourced materials and made in Pittsburgh, PA. Otto Finn is proud to be a women-led team dedicated to creating sustainable fashion.
Fabric is pre-washed. Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Line dry and warm iron as needed.
Sizing: Please note that if you have previously purchased a jacket from us before, the pattern and sizing has been updated. Sizes are gender neutral. If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to email email@example.com for assistance.
For example, if you normally wear a women’s S dress, you would wear the XS jacket for normal oversized fit. This is just a guide, there are lots of customers who are S and buy XL jackets! See size chart for measurements. It’s a matter of preference.
*Please note that this quilt is large enough for an up to L size medium length jacket with sleeves. If you are a smaller size and want us to check if the blanket is long enough for a longer length, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask us to check.
Please write the following in the notes as you check out: length, size, main side, ig handle if you'd like to be tagged.
If you have a preference as to which side you’d like to be the “main” side (with the pockets), please let us know in the notes. Otherwise, we will choose a side for you.
If you’d like us to tag you in our Instagram page when your jacket is complete, please leave your handle after you make all your style choices.
