The Pauli Sweatshirt now comes in an updated design with a hi-low curved hem, offering a flattering drape and slightly longer back for coverage. This one is designed for people with hips or who just want more ease for movement! Like the original, it’s made with a vintage kantha front and organic cotton French terry sleeves and back, blending heritage textiles with modern comfort. Both the classic ribbed-hem Pauli and this new hi-low version are currently available.
The Pauli is named after Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray (November 20, 1910 – July 1, 1985). Murray was an American civil rights activist who became a lawyer, gender equality advocate, Episcopal priest, and author. They were the first Black person perceived as a woman in the U.S. to become an Episcopal priest. Murray actively questioned their gender and sex, but was denied gender-affirming care.
