The Circle Collection celebrates women's physical metamorphosis. The fit is generous, comfortable and modern. The collection is a collaboration between OTTO FINN and EECM in Pittsburgh, PA. It is sewn by the women whose lives are in transition and are enrolled in their work training program. Each piece is named after a heroine of ours and made with organic and sustainable fibers.
The Henrietta Dress is a sleeveless dress that works for layering in the colder months and solo during the warmer months. It's roomy enough to dance in and versatile enough to dress up or down. There are two inseam pockets perfects for stashing treats or keeping your hands warm. It features a high low hem.
Named after Henrietta Lacks, a poor African-American tobacco farmer, whose immortalized cells were unknowingly taken from her during a biopsy before her death in 1951. She is an unsung heroine of medicine. Her cells, known as the HeLa line, has been vital for the development of the polio vaccine, cloning, gene mapping, in-vitro fertilization and is used for medical research world-wide.
