Junko::kantha designed by Otto Finn integrates original vintage kantha textile fragments salvaged from the production of our Anoushka Jackets.

The Junko pants are all one of a kind and have enormous side pockets and roll up hems made from remnant fabrics. They are a drop crotch pant and are roomy for all the dance floors or bedroom floors you dance in. You'll live in them :)  

These pants are named after our heroine, Japanese Mountain Climber, author, and teacher Junko Tabei. Tabei founded a Women's Mountaineering Club in 1969 because of the ways she was being treated by male mountaineers at the time. She was the first woman, despite an avalanche hitting her camp, to reach the peak of Mt. Everest in 1975, the highest in the world.

Fabric: Main: 100% raw silk. Pockets and interior of roll up hem are made of kantha remnants, mostly cotton.

Care:
Silk is not pre-washed and will shrink a small amount.
Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Line dry and warm iron as needed.
